A Keene, NH area employer has an opening for a Farm Assistant. This is a full-time, first shift position with a flexible schedule and starting pay of $16/hour. No experience or high school diploma required.

Duties:

• Select animal for sampling – includes detailed observation of traits and overall health
• Monitor strain security to preserve and protect the purity of bloodlines
• Complete tests regularly to determine accuracy of work
• Ensure proper animal handling in accordance to animal welfare practices
• Maintain the farm premises, buildings and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly manner at all times
• Ensure that farm equipment is properly washed and maintained
• Comply with personnel/safety rules, regulations, and policies

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail, able to carry out direct and precise instructions
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Basic computer skills

Hours: Monday to Friday, varying first shift schedules
